Do you love yoga and want to discover Nepal? Now you can do both at the same time. We offer an incredible tour package where every day will be brimmed with experience. Your body will two tailor-made yoga sessions per day to match your touring and trekking pursuits. Not only will you further your yoga practice, but you’ll also experience the authentic culture of Nepal, osmoses with the Himalayan Mountains discover the rich and incredible jungle and wildlife. Your local guides are highly experienced and knowledgeable your yoga instructor(s) have long standing reputations, experience, and will be committed to your enjoyment and practice. We offer two yoga brief sessions per day as they fit into the flow of our schedule. Each flow may include spontaneous meditation discussion, and sharing. Each sightseeing destination will be guided and we are also flexible to what our guests want to see and do most. You will be in the very best hands for 9 days to fully experience more of the potential of your own body, mind and soul while touring beautiful Nepal.

Experience the top sightseeing destinations. Below are some examples of what you can do – we’ll tailor this package to your preferences.
• Kathmandu- Home to Swayambhuath temple, also known as Monkey Temple. The name translates to ‘self created,’ it is both Hindu and Buddhist and overlooks the centre of Kathmandu. In Boudanath lays the world’s Buddhist stupda. The area has a deeply peaceful environment, as intentional prayers occur here at all times. The Pashupatinath temple is sacred Hindu temple complex on the Bagmati River and is a sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries. Kathmandu Durbar Square sits in front of the royal palace and showcases the skills of centuries of newar artists in its buildings. Each destination is recognized as a heritage site!

• Bhaktapur- An ancient and historical town famous for its Durbar Square, It’s also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Aside from having the largest number of temples in one destination, it is also a place of immense creativity and handcrafted arts. All newer buildings have been built in traditional style in keeping with the maintenance of its heritage status.

• Pokhara- a picturesque town situated on the well known lakes, Fewa and Begnas, which overlooks stunning views of the Annapurna Mountains. Many sports activities can be enjoyed in this region such as paragliding and skydiving. There is a variety of food, stupor, visits, short and long hikes in this region.

• Chitwan- Nepal’s national park of rich and diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy a scenic hike through the jungle and familiarize yourself with the local culture.

• The Yoga will be tailored to your level/requirements, with an emphasis on conditioning and remedial-it will be casual and based upon your groups needs each and every moment. You will be offered health and wellness tips and various opportunities for meditation, with a memorable environment to create a truly present moment. We are willing to accommodate to the needs and desires of our guests, let us know and we will make it happen!

• Sun Salutation – Surya Namaskar – We will enjoy this ancient energizing practice, according to the right place and time, because there is no better way to start and end the day in the sacred landscapes of Nepal.

• Postures – Asanas – to further your practice with beautiful backdrops and scenic views (don’t forget to capture this moment with a picture).

• Meditation and Breathing in nature – Pranayama – an emphasis on how to take everything in and savor every moment in the moment.

• Relaxation – Yoga Nidra – Relaxation with full body awareness ensures you recharge and are full of energy everyday to support your daily explorations.

• Yoga wisdom sharing – on topics such as life, death and in between such as liberation, health, yogic food and lifestyle – it is a time to appreciate inspirational exchanges, insight, questions, and discussion.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the retreat centre
After arriving at Kathmandu Airport, you will be transported to Nepal Yoga Academy where you’ll check in and relax in the beautiful fruit garden, soaking up the stunning view. In the evening you will be given a briefing session that will cover the schedule, travel routes, and discussion about the way we’ll be including the yoga, meditation, and breathing sessions.

Day 2: Sunrise view at Nagarkot and Bhaktapur sightseeing.
At day break you’ll be taken to Nagarkot to greet the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas. Afterwards, we head back to the retreat centre for simple nasal cleansing, some yoga and relaxation, followed by a delicious nourishing breakfast. After breakfast, we will go explore the famous world heritage sight of Bhaktapur. Steeped in history, this is the perfect place to soak up beautiful Nepalese architecture and culture. You’ll enjoy a lovely lunch there, then finish the day back at the retreat centre with an hour breathing (pranayam), yoga (asana), and meditation sessions followed by dinner, discussion, and free time.

Day 3: Swayumbunath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa
We begin the day with Jala-neti cleansing, morning breathing (pranayama) and yoga (asana) session followed by breakfast. Afterwards we’ll drive to the Swayumbunath (Monkey) Temple – followed by Boudhanath. This is the largest stupa in Nepal and considered the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside of Tibet. After that you will proceed to Patan and visit the Krishna Mandir, which is known as “the miracle of Nepalese architecture art”. As the sun sets, you’ll head back to the academy for an evening conditioning yoga (asana) and meditation sessions, followed by dinner, discussion, and free time.

Day 4: Traveling from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park.
There will be an hour of yoga and relaxation in the morning before breakfast. After the morning meal we will take a bus to Chitwan, with a stopover in the small town of Kurintar for lunch. Once arriving in Chitwan, you’ll have free time for the rest of the day, before a late afternoon stretch, yoga (asana) and meditation sessions before dinner, discussion, and free time.

Day 5: Jeep safari in Chitwan Park
The day will as usual, start with a yoga stretch session, relaxation, and breakfast. Chitwan is Nepal’s national park of rich and diverse flora and animals. Today you will be driven around the jungle in a jeep by an experienced guide and may even spot a diversity of species such as rhinos, mugger crocodiles, Indian rock python, Bengal tiger, gharial, deer, or leopards. The afternoon will consist of washing, playing with, and riding the elephants. After a busy day you’ll unwind with a restorative yoga (asana) and meditation session, followed by an evening meal with plentiful time to share stories and discuss the day.

Day 6: Travelling from Chitwan Park to Pokhara
After a short yoga session and breakfast, we’ll travel to Pokhara by car to our hotel. Pokhara is a picturesque town situated on lake Begnas with views of the Annapurna mountains. Once arriving in Pokhara we’ll amble along the beautiful lake side and afterwards explore the bustling city. The evening will conclude with a yoga, meditation session, a spiritual talk, and dinner overlooking the lake.

Day 7: Sightseeing and activities in Pokhara
After yoga and breakfast, you may go and explore the many attractions of Pokhara. From paragliding, zip lining, hiking, canoeing on the lake, or visiting many of the beautiful surrounding temples. Day 8: Traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu
After a morning yoga session and a hearty breakfast, we will depart for Kathmandu by car- approximately 6-8 hours of travel. Once we’ve arrived back at the retreat centre and to our rooms, we will offer a light stretch to help unravel and relax after the journey. Those who would like a hot sauna are more than welcome to take one. Afterwards, we will enjoy a meditation session and conclude our last night together with a delicious meal.

Day 9: Reflection and check-out
Enjoy your last yoga and relaxation session first thing, overlooking the beautiful Bhaktapur valley. Following breakfast and goodbyes, it will be time to check out and be transported to Kathmandu unless you choose to extend your stay at our centre or travel to another destination.

The rate mentioned here are in USD for you to understand easily, we will charge same amount eqv. to Nepali rupee applying the rate of the day when you arrive here.

Check in/Check out time: 12.00, we will not charge guests having an early morning or late flight and arrive earlier or leave later. We can not guarantee a room then, but will provide a locked room for your luggage.

Child policy: Our retreat packages are designed for adults seeking peace of mind, serenity, balance and relaxation. Therefore our retreat is not recommended for children under 8 years, if you need more information regarding our child policy, please contact us.

During your stay at Nepal Yoga, you will be provided with a 3 star accommodation in a 5 star nature setting. During your booking, you will choose between a private or shared room. Each spacious room is equipped with a comfortable bed, thick comforter (as it often gets chilly at night time), wardrobe, chair, and night stand. Each room comes with a private, Western style bathroom, including daily hot showers. Our staff works diligently to keep your space and the surrounding areas clean and tidy. You will be provided with unlimited filtered water and herbal tea, fresh from our very own garden. What makes our location unique is the outstanding scenery during your stay. Every spot at our centre is surrounded by views of the Himalayan valley. Our garden is a truly energizing location to enjoy, relax, and observe the simplicity of your surroundings.
