A whole seven days to replenish and rejuvenate. At Nepal Yoga Retreat we have designed an extraordinary 7-day rejuvenation plan for you to drop into a place of peace, inside and out. If you find in life there’s simply no space and little time for you, this regenerative immersion retreat may be exactly what will bring you home to yourself.
You’ll be eased in with a deeply relaxing massage with the energizing hands of our traditionally trained Ayurveda masseuse. Each day, our purpose designed yoga sessions for the inexperienced through to advanced yogis will open your lungs and rejuvenate your circulatory system, and pulse much-needed oxygen to your cells to restore your vital energy.
You will also be treated to our Ayurveda spa to further release toxins from your body and free you from stress and strain, and feel more enlivened.
With body and mind refreshed we’ll take you (optional) for sightseeing in the Kathmandu valley. From the gorgeous sunrise at Nagarkot and 360-degree views of the Himalayan ranges to the Changu Narayan temple, the oldest temple of Nepal, more than 3000 years – is a mark of religious tolerance in the country.

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the retreat centre
After arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be transferred by private transport to retreat center. You will have free time to freshen up, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Following an evening yoga (asana) and meditation session, we will join for dinner and discuss the retreat. You may use the rest of the evening to relax and rest.
Hike to Changu Narayan Temple and relaxation (optional)
Introduction to Jala-neti cleansing, morning breathing (pranayama) session, yoga (asana) session. After breakfast, we take a 1.5-2hr hike up to the World UNESCO heritage site of Changu Narayan Temple and enjoy delicious lunch at a local restaurant. From there we will walk back to the retreat center for evening breathing (pranayama), yoga (asana), and meditation sessions, and finishing our day with dinner, discussion, and free time.
Sunrise view at Nagarkot and Bhaktapur (optional)
We will visit Nagarkot by car for spectacular views of the sunrise over the Himalayan range. At 2,150m above sea level, enjoy breathtaking views of the major Himalayan peaks of Nepal like Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, etc, on a clear day one can even see Mount Everest (8,848m) from here. We will head back to the retreat for morning breathing (pranayama), yoga (asana), and meditation sessions followed by breakfast. After breakfast we go by car to Bhaktapur, the ancient city, known as the City of Devotees. The city is surrounded by walls and interiorly is carless. Bhaktapur has more temples per square foot than any other place in Nepal. We will visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pottery square and other temples there are also various souvenir shops should that be of interest to you. We will visit Thanka art galleries and various museums. After lunch at Bhaktapur we will head back to the retreat centre for evening breathing (pranayama), yoga (asana), and meditation sessions followed by dinner, discussion, and free time.
Patan and Boudhanath Stupa (optional)
Introduction to Jala-neti cleansing, Morning meditation and yoga session followed by a delicious breakfast. We will head into Kathmandu by car to visit Patan, which is one of 3 Royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley and a centre for fine art, Buddhist and Hindu culture. From here we will go to one of the most sacred Hindu temples of Nepal – the Pashupatinath Temple. It is located on both banks of the Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Hindus from every corner of Nepal and India travel here to die. Afterwards we will visit the Boudhanath Stupa, which is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside of Tibet. We will share lunch by the stupor, and then head back to the retreat center for an evening breathing (pranayam), yoga (asana), and meditation sessions, followed by dinner, discussion, and free time.
Shoyambhunath Temple and Thamel (optional)
The day will start with Jala-neti cleansing, morning breathing (pranayama) session, and yoga (asana) session. Following breakfast, we will start our journey to Kathmandu. We will begin the day at Shoyambhunath Temple, famously known as the monkey temple. This site is one of the holiest Buddhist chaityas in Nepal. Resting atop a hill with breathtaking panoramic views of Kathmandu, this temple serves as a sacred location for faith and harmony. Following a memorable morning at the temple, you can pick a restaurant of your choice (each guest is responsible for their meal). Our team highly recommends visiting Thamel, a destination with plenty of choices for food and shopping. You will have free time to walk the vibrant and colorful streets of Thamel, but don’t forget to find some special souvenirs to take home with you.
Countryside hike (optional)
We will start the day with Jala-neti cleansing, morning breathing (pranayama) session, and yoga (asana) session. After a nutritious breakfast, we will go on a jungle hike through the countryside with beautiful views of Himalayas. During our hike, we will find an ideal location for a short session of yoga and meditation, with plenty of views of the surrounding scenery. We will have our lunch at a local Nepali restaurant; however, guests will pay for this meal. This is a great opportunity to taste a variety of Nepali dishes. Following lunch, we will continue our jungle hike through the countryside along with more opportunities for pictures, poses, and meditation. We will arrive back at the retreat centre in time for an evening breathing (pranayama), yoga (asana), and meditation sessions followed by dinner, discussion, and free time.
Reflection and check-out
Jala-neti cleansing, morning breathing (pranayama) and yoga (asana) session. We will have our final breakfast followed by relaxation and reflection upon the activities from the past few days. We will have check out and goodbyes in the morning. You are welcome to stay past check-out if you have evening travel arrangements, lunch will be provided.

The rate mentioned here are in USD for you to understand easily, we will charge same amount eqv. to Nepali rupee applying the rate of the day when you arrive here.
Check in/Check out time: 12.00, we will not charge guests having an early morning or late flight and arrive earlier or leave later. We can not guarantee a room then, but will provide a locked room for your luggage.
Child policy: Our retreat packages are designed for adults seeking peace of mind, serenity, balance and relaxation. Therefore our retreat is not recommended for children under 8 years, if you need more information regarding our child policy, please contact us.
Retreat Package is ready for booking anytime whether in winter or summer, however some activities may be seasonal, please inquire when booking.
During your stay at Nepal Yoga, you will be provided with a 3 star accommodation in a 5 star nature setting. During your booking, you will choose between a private or shared room. Each spacious room is equipped with a comfortable bed, thick comforter (as it often gets chilly at night time), wardrobe, chair, and night stand. Each room comes with a private, Western style bathroom, including daily hot showers. Our staff works diligently to keep your space and the surrounding areas clean and tidy. You will be provided with unlimited filtered water and herbal tea, fresh from our very own garden. What makes our location unique is the outstanding scenery during your stay. Every spot at our centre is surrounded by views of the Himalayan valley. Our garden is a truly energizing location to enjoy, relax, and observe the simplicity of your surroundings.
