200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

This course is designed to lay the foundation for individuals beginning their journey on the yogic path, whether it is to deepen their own practice or to start a career in yoga teaching. Trainees emerge from our YTT as confident teachers with a strong and solid teaching skill set in yoga. Alongside developing and perfecting the art of teaching, trainees also gain understanding on the practice of yoga asanas, ethics and philosophy, physiology, correcting, mantra chanting, chakras, anatomy, ayurveda, mudras, pranayama, meditation and other traditional and contemporary yoga techniques.
Assessment
Trainees will be assessed on class participation, lesson planning, practicum, chanting, and leading a workshop. During the final week of practicum, students will receive valuable feedback from both the teacher and the peers, and are required to meet certain teaching standards on the knowledge of anatomy, asana alignment and adjustments, and communication.
